Curriculum
I teach a wide range of styles and materials in accordance with the student’s goals. Classically, I regularly teach the RCM syllabus, technique, music theory, and ensemble playing. I also teach popular and jazz music skills, including reading lead sheets, arranging chord charts, transcribing, aural skills, improvisation, and composition.
Early Childhood Lessons
Students as young as 4 can enroll in lessons revolving around play, games, and songs. These lessons gradually introduce musical concepts, refine their ear, and prepare their fine motor skills for piano technique by learning simple songs. Parental help with practice is essential, and I will provide guidance on how to help.
